Class: - VI
Subject: Science
Topic: Separation of Substances
Objective :
To help students understand and apply different methods of separating mixtures based on physical properties such as size, weight, magnetic nature, and solubility.
Feedback
Students enthusiastically took part in the activity and gained a clear understanding of various separation methods such as handpicking, magnetic separation, sedimentation, decantation, filtration, and evaporation. They enjoyed the hands-on experience—mixing materials, using magnets, filtering, and observing evaporation—which made learning practical and meaningful. The activity enhanced their observation, reasoning, and teamwork skills while helping them connect science to everyday life.
