TOPIC- FRACTION (FRACTION PIZZA)
The “ Paper Pizza Making ” activity was both creative and conceptually strong.
Divided students in a group of 4.
Students applied their understanding of fractions by dividing the pizza base and representing each portion with pasted pictures of different ingredients.
Objectives
This visual and tactile method made the concept of fractions clearer and more relatable. The variety of ingredient images added colour, interest, and realism to the task.
Learners showed creativity in design, accuracy in fraction representation, and good teamwork while sharing materials and ideas. The activity successfully combined mathematics with art, enhancing both conceptual understanding and engagement.
