Sharda International School conducted special assembly on the theme 'Save Planet Earth, on 19.04.2023. The event began with the short speech by students on the importance of protecting our planet Earth. Members of the NGO, 'The Lions Club' were invited to emphasise the importance of 'Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.' Mr. Deepak from the club sensitized the students about reducing the waste and recycling the resources. Students were also intimidated about school's initiative of getting new recycled notebooks in return of their old notebooks. Students and teaches were distributes recycled notebooks and cloth bags to promote the idea 'Say No To Plastic.' The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the school Head. The programme was informative and students took the pledge to apply the Three 'Rs' in their lives.
