Description:
As part of the nationwide celebration of Poshan Maah (Nutrition Month), our school organized a
series of engaging activities in alignment with CBSE guidelines to promote awareness about nutrition
and healthy living among students. The activities conducted during the month included:
Nutritional Awareness Sessions: Students attended interactive sessions where they learned about
the five food groups, the importance of a balanced diet, and the ill effects of junk food.
Poster Making and Slogan Writing: Students showcased their creativity by designing informative
posters and writing impactful slogans on themes like "Eat Right, Stay Bright" and "Healthy Food,
Healthy Mood".
Recipe Making without Fire: Students participated in a fun and educational activity by preparing
healthy snacks without using fire, promoting safe and nutritious food choices.
Morning Assemblies and Skits: Short skits and speeches were presented during morning assemblies
to highlight issues related to malnutrition and food hygiene.
Kitchen Garden Initiative: Students were encouraged to take part in school gardening, learning how
to grow simple vegetables and herbs at home or in school.
The Poshan Maah initiative was a great success, with enthusiastic participation from both students and teachers.
